Solar Plexus Chakra

Respect for each other is a common principle… if you want your rights then you also have to be conscious of the rights of others… Balancing this chakra can be achieved by selfless service, serving others without desire for reward.

- Harish Johari and Will Geraets, The Wisdom Teachings of Harish Johari on the Mahabharata

The solar-plexus chakra also known as Manipura Chakra in Sanskrit (mani- gems; pura- city) is the third chakra located in the solar plexus, naval area of the body. It plays a part in the pancreas gland and this is where you find your inner strength, power, and self-control. One would also want to help others find these qualities within themselves… or weaken them.
