For the Love of Yoga
Some people think yoga is a form of fitness, but in actuality yoga in Sanskrit means to yoke. To become one with all that is. Yoga is a practice of becoming one. Through asana (posture/pose) and pranayama (breath) one can get into a meditative state and reach samadhi ~ a state of pure peace of mind and clarity.
This is a beautiful practice that has and continues to help me in numerous ways.
Yoga really is just a practice of surrendering. You don’t practice yoga to get away from what you feel. You practice yoga to dive even deeper.
I am super passionate about yoking with my Highest Self, and I want to inspire others to feel the same.
Through a whole flow, meditation, breath work, qigong, or just one asana, it is my calling to share what’s helped me find my inner state of peace and serenity.
On The Yoga Priestess you will find all things that will help connect us to our soul and dharma (destiny/purpose).
And remember, in moments where we feel unbalanced, sometimes the best type of movement is stillness.
