Throat Chakra

This Is the chakra of spiritual rebirth. It… Includes piranha, the vital life force throughout the body that brings balance of all the elements, and jnana, awareness that bestows bliss [and] understanding the laws of existence and how to synchronize with them… The voice of a fifth chakra person penetrates to the heart of the listener.

This chakra is how we vibrate into expression. We create and are mainly alive because of the Throat chakra, which is what filters the beautiful oxygen that gives us life. The throat chakra also known as Vishuddha Chakra in Sanskrit (purification) is the fifth chakra located in the throat, neck, mouth, and ears region of the body. I’m sure you can take a good guess at what this chakra governs. This allows us to express ourself, listen within and without! And raise the potential to help others through the way we communicate.

Balanced Throat:

With a balanced throat chakra you want to speak and be heard. You are also a very good listener you have a resonant voice. This all sounds like everything I aim to wanna be lol. Third chakra balance also includes good sense of timing and rhythm, plus clear communication skills. The balancing of our self expression truly allows us to live creatively.

Imbalanced Throat:

You can tell if you have an imbalanced throat chakra if you have a tendency of lying or sending mixed messages, verbally abusing or manipulating people. Constantly yelling and excessive criticism (which btw, blocks your creativity) is another side effect of being imbalanced here. Others include: keeping secrets, gossiping, threatening and blackmailing people, disorders of the throat, ears, voice and neck, and tightness of jaw. You could also have experienced things in the home like verbally abusive parents, alcoholics or people that hinder you from talking, feeling or trusting and try to govern you. Growing up in an environment like this isn’t easy and can diminish your confidence and self expression. Which may be pretty common for some parts of the world. I will explain how to heal in a later post, for now know that you are strong and can make a difference.

I send you reiki. So that you can be your most authentic beautiful honest self ^_^☆

Understanding the throat chakra helps us understand how we can move from codependent to independent without compromising our love and what we believe in. We can become more fluid and more in love with not just ourselves and others, but with life.

Now we can move up to the Ajna Chakra.
